Quote from my personal Facebook page: “Have you ever wondered what is really on our minds? Should we consider the question metaphysically, physically, or as a metaphor for the ease of how much we truly want to share but sometimes only have the courage to write on a figurative wall?”
I was eating toasted Ezekiel bread with orange marmalade and drinking Numi tea with almond milk reading the timeline on Facebook this morning when I pondered what drove Facebook to have the status box have the question: What is on your mind? And this inspired to think about that and write the above post. As I sit here at Starbucks, I reflect upon my thoughts this morning. Not only do I enjoy occasionally sharing the abstract thoughts that cross my mind on Facebook but here I sit taking time to reflect and share with everyone on my blog.
Have you ever just sat very quietly and allow thoughts to bubble out of your head? What thoughts come to mind? As I sit here, I type on my laptop and let thoughts come to mind besides also listening to some of the most absurd conversations. I have always been an incessant people watcher but today it’s even more entertaining than usual especially since the people have no idea because I look very busy typing away. You might wonder what she is doing at Starbucks this morning. I was meeting an old coworker who ended up no-showing but I stayed so I could write and do a little work while waiting for my lunch date.
