Tears From Heaven

Blending of Life

The sky has shed tears all night. As the sky starts to turn blue and the ground dries, I think about what a week it has been so far.  Rain has a way of clearing away all the garbage and cleansing the earth like tears can heal the heart.  At 4 a.m. the rain woke me up, remembering that I forgot to take my vitamins and medications last night before crashing, I got up, fed my babies, took my pills and returned to my slumber. Having the clock radio go off at 7 a.m., I laid in bed reflecting on my goals and plans for today.

While listening and participating on two Mary Kay Ten Minute Connection Calls, one at 8:15 and then 9, I organized my day to work my Mary Kay business around my scheduled activities: lending a hand to a friend to enhance their social networking sites, then a Mary Kay party, followed by attending Little League game, then Choir Practice and finally be at my neighbor, Elaine’s for our 9 p.m. date to watch Person of Interest.

Final thought before I go is a scripture that I heard while on 9 a.m. call. James 1:17: “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”  Whether rain or shine our day my direction is share joy, love and happiness to everyone I meet today.
